Welcome to Caliga Ortus RPG!! We're a Harry Potter centric role playing game where the events of Deathly Hallows are not taken completely into account. In our world, darkness is rising - caliga ortus. A new faction has completely infiltrated the wizarding government and old enemies refuse to go away. Danger lurks in the most unsuspecting of people and the darkness creeping into Britain is slowly filtering into everyone's lives. Despite the increasing precariousness, people continue to court, break up, get married, break each other and make each other. Babies are born, families are created by blood and choice, and life goes on.

FAQ:

Who can be a member of caliga_rpg? Though watching is greatly encouraged, membership in caliga_rpg and caliga_ooc is limited to character journals and player journals. However, feel free to become a member of our official fan journal, caliga_fan.

Can I comment on the entries? Yes!! Please comment on any and all entries except for the "Owls". Feel free to ask the authors and/or characters anything. We encourage it!! If you'd like to make a more general comment, or say something about an owl correspondence, caliga_fan is a good place to do that.

How long has Caliga Ortus been going? We've been active since October 1, 2007. We just celebrated our 2 year anniversary with over 4,000 entries on the board!! We welcome new players and ideas though, so please consider one of our available characters.

Is Caliga Ortus compliant with Deathly Hallows? Caliga will not be taking into account some of the events that transpired in Deathly Hallows. Any characters killed or maimed in DH will remain as they were prior to the release of the book. Any plot introduced or concluded in DH will not have occurred, though any characters, places, spells, magical objects, etc, can be incorporated into caliga_rpg with moderator approval. Therefore, there may be small Deathly Hallows spoilers.
